Calypso

As we were rummaging through our many bags of beads and gemstones, we came across some forgotten treasures... A bag of truly oddly shaped freshwater pearls inspired us a couple of one of a kind jewellery pieces.
And this is the how this Calypso ring was born.

We selected some funky shaped pearls and created molten barnacle-esque receptacles for them out of jeweller's wax.
Because each piece was made for a very specific pearl, this ring is truly one of kind.
This ring was cast in bronze and then preciously hand polished by us before being gold plated.
Just like with a lot of our pieces, we had to fight the urge to keep this one for ourselves but ultimately decided to release it into the world.

We recommend not showering or washing your hands whilst wearing gold vermeil jewellery as this will affect the gold plating over time.
