Diana Goddess of the Hunt

A showstopper of a sparkler, this one does not shy away from the light!
 
The lovely, white Cubic Zirconia orb represents the feminine moon - symbol of the Goddess Diana - Goddess of the Hunt.

The unusual shape of the ring itself takes its form from the Temple of Diana structures, that honour this goddess. It also allows for maximum light infiltration to the glittering stone.

The metal holding the stone in place are wisps of clouds, passing over the face of the moon allowing it to peek through a diaphanous veil.

Each shoulder of the shank of the ring is engraved with symbols sacred to Diana - her bow and arrow and the crescent moon.

Diana is an important figure symbolising feminine divinity, and we worship at her altar.

Each unique ring is firstly hand carved (by us!) from jeweller's wax. The stones are lovingly selected and set directly into the wax patterns. Then they are cast into Sterling SIlver via the process of lost wax casting - where the wax is melted out and replaced by molten metal.
The metal holds the stones in place creating a one of a kind piece - no two will ever by nature be the same.

The ring is hand polished and finished by us, before being sent for their final enrobement in gold. The cubic zirconias are used as they are hard enough to withstand the intense heat of the metal casting. They are super sparkly and particularly beautiful when held up to the light.

Dreamt up, hand made and finished entirely in London - we hope these will be treasured as modern heirlooms.
